Dr. Bojan Jerbic is a total professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Department for Robotics and Automation of Manufacturing Systems.

His scientific research is te the field of artificial intelligence ter robotics, especially behavioristic problems. He is engaged te the research and development of slim control models for multi-agent robotic systems, the interaction of robots and humans and robotic models of consciousness.

Thanks to the research projects implemented te cooperation with the industry, he developed one of the most advanced laboratories for applied robotics and autonomous systems ter Europe, where his students have a infrequent chance to educate themself on the cutting-edge technology. Presently, he is the head of research project ACRON: A Fresh Concept of Applied Cognitive Robotics te Clinical Neuroscience ter which fresh grounds for slim control models are established, based on interaction, learning and machine self-awareness, pushing the boundaries of robotic application. Thanks to the original approaches to robotic control that he developed with his colleagues, project of the application of robots te neurosurgery is te the stage of clinical trials, opening a entire fresh era of robotic application te medicine.
